Ingredients
- 2.5 cups basil lightly packed
- 1/4 cup walnuts toasted quickly in pan or toaster oven
- 1/4 tsp salt (or more to taste)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup olive oil
Instructions
- Add basil, walnuts, salt, and garlic to food processor and blend
- Add Parmesan and continue to blend
- Add butter and olive oil, and blend until well combined
Notes
Initially I made this with 1/2 cup walnuts instead of 1/4 cup. It was a little too nutty. And when you're toasting the nuts, make sure not to burn them - it's easy to do!
