Servings: 12 meatballs
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup freshly shredded parmesan
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup beef broth divided
- 1 egg
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, reserving about 3/4 cup of beef broth
- Mix together until well incorporated, keeping in mind not to overwork the meat too much
- Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray or grease with butter
- Roll meatballs into about 1-inch balls, using either your hands or a cookie scoop
- Pour remaining beef broth around meatballs on baking sheet
- Bake for about 25 minutes, until the edges of the meatballs are just starting to brown
Notes
These meatballs freeze pretty well, but they’re so tasty you probably won’t have any leftovers.
