Ingredients
- 10 garlic scapes roughly chopped
- 1 cup lightly packed basil leaves
- 1/3 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1.5 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1/3 cup olive oil
Instructions
- Add garlic scapes to your food processor and give a few pulses to break them down a bit.
- Add all other ingredients except olive oil and pulse a few more times.
- Turn on food processor and slowly add the olive oil. You may need to stop once or twice and scrape down the sides of the bowl.
- Taste your pesto - you may want to add more lemon juice, cheese, or olive oil.
- Enjoy with pasta, fish, zucchini, ground meat, or anything else you desire!
