Bread Butt Croutons

Mahhkk's bread leftover croutons
I save up bread butts from sliced loaves and turn them into delicious croutons.

Ingredients

  • 10 slices bread wheat, white, anything works
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cut bread slices into small squares
  • Mix melted butter, olive oil, and seasonings. Taste mixture to make sure it's to your liking and adjust as needed
  • In a large bowl, mix bread cubes and oil/butter mixture. Toss to coat. Add more olive oil as necessary to make sure all pieces are coated
  • Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes, or until slightly crisp and brown. Serve on salads, soups, or however you'd normally eat croutons!
