Bread Butt Croutons
I save up bread butts from sliced loaves and turn them into delicious croutons.

Servings 6 servings
- 10 slices bread wheat, white, anything works
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Cut bread slices into small squares
Mix melted butter, olive oil, and seasonings. Taste mixture to make sure it's to your liking and adjust as needed
In a large bowl, mix bread cubes and oil/butter mixture. Toss to coat. Add more olive oil as necessary to make sure all pieces are coated
Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes, or until slightly crisp and brown. Serve on salads, soups, or however you'd normally eat croutons!
